Hole 18

Skeena Valley closes with a dramatic par 4 that has broken many scorecards. The fairway slopes sharply right-to-left, and anything that drifts too far left risks tumbling into the infamous Death Valley — a near-impossible recovery zone beside the green shrouded in forest. Out-of-bounds runs down the right, so accuracy is at a premium. Many players choose a long iron or hybrid off the tee to stay in position. The approach is uphill to a perched green that slopes steeply, making even short putts slippery. Finish with a par here and you can walk proudly off one of the most demanding closing holes in the Northwest.
